Far too many people are caught in a 9-5 grind going nowhere. Unhappy, unfulfilled, and uninspired they go through life counting time instead of making time count. They long for a greater purpose and sense of significance, but feel trapped in their current situation, with no way out.
Trapped with no way out…
I spend a lot of time having meaningful conversations with folks struggling with this very issue. Deep down they have goals and dreams that they long to achieve. In most cases, these are hopes and aspirations they have embraced for many years.
But life didn’t turn out the way they had hoped. The unexpected twists and turns of life – the detours and the setbacks – have left them deflated, frustrated and discouraged. They feel so far off track… like they’ve missed the mark.
Feeling stuck, they settle. They accept the status quo. They just “go with the flow.” Yet all the while they continue to be haunted by this nagging sense that they are meant for more. Maybe you can relate.
You know you’re meant for more…
If you have lost your WHY and lost your WAY, then this post is for you. In the following video, I share a powerful story of transformation that will encourage you, and rekindle hope. It’s a true story, and a very personal one.
Up until now, I have only shared this video with a select few. Given the impact it has had on them, I felt compelled to share it here with you. My hope is that you will be inspired and renewed in your pursuit of your epic story.

Some closing thoughts…
Until then, please remember the following…

- It’s never too late to refocus your life.
- You’re never as stuck as you think you are.
- You can reinvent yourself.
- Start now.
In this keynote address to some of the top coaches in the business coaching industry, I tell a story of transformation made possible through a coaching relationship. I hope that this video will be a source of great inspiration to professionals in the coaching profession, and to anyone aspiring to write their epic story.
Until next time,
An excellent presentation Eric. Thank you for sharing your personal story. Loved the way you minded the ‘why’ questions we all have and then the ‘way’ to benefit from our past experiences as we move into our preferred future. Reminds me of what a man named Paul said, “All things work together for good…” May you have continued success in every area of your life.
Thanks Barry. That’s very kind of you. Nothing is ever wasted, not even the really tough stuff, if we can embrace what it can teach us. All the best to you and Joyce as well.
